Year 1 - Geography fieldwork
This session required the children from year 1 to make a journey stick showing signs of the seasons in the school grounds. The children worked with their friends to add items of nature to their journey stick they found on their walk. The children were able to recognise which were signs that we are in the season of winter, transitioning into spring.
Geography National Fieldwork Fortnight
The children took part in an outdoor Geography lesson as part of the National Fieldwork Fortnight. They learnt the cardinal and ordinal directions on a compass and transferred this knowledge to observe the human and physical features around our school grounds.

Year 4 trip to Holmebrook Valley park - fieldwork on rivers.
