School Librarians

Our school Librarians are avid readers and love to share the joy of books.

We are responsible for ensuring our school library is kept tidy so that all children can find the books they want.

We also work with our classes to make sure we have a good mix of story books, non-fiction and poetry in our classes for all children to read and enjoy. 

Our current librarians are:

Marcey, Freya, Harry, Quinn, Emily, Thomas, Reo, Bethany, Charlie, Freya, Annabella and Erin

Author Visit

Key Stage 1 and EYFS welcomed a local author into school. Wendy Scott read her books to the children in the younger classes and then signed her books for the children and families to purchase. 

Our school librarians helped welcome Wendy into school as well as supporting her at the end of school with her book sales. 

Wendy came back to visit us again in 2025, the children in Y2 remembered her and could recall her stories and the children in Y1 and EYFS thoroughly enjoyed the story about Billy and his submarine!
